Improved provision on Lines 315, 316, 317, 318 and 410

18/8/2010Improved provision on Lines 315, 316, 317, 318 and 410

De Lijn is improving its provision on regional lines from 1 September 2010. Frequencies will be increased, buses will run earlier and/or later... In short, you will reach your destination more quickly and comfortably from now on. All the more reason to take the bus and leave your car at home.

What is changing as from 1 September 2010 for Lines 315, 316, 317, 318 and 410?

  • Express bus 410 becomes a semi-direct line. Between Leuven and Tervuren the 410 will remain an express line, but between Tervuren and Brussels this line will stop at every stop.
  • Line 318 will be extended to Leuven via the Tervuursesteenweg and will ride over the ramparts to the station. It will run every 30 minutes during peak and off-peak hours.
  • Line 410 will ride every 30 minutes during off-peak hours. This creates a 15 minute frequency, in combination with Line 318, between Leuven and Brussels.
  • Line 317 will also run every 30 minutes between Tervuren and Leuven during off-peak hours. That creates a 15 minute frequency, in combination with Line 410, between Tervuren and Leuven.
  • The route of Line 315 will be adjusted between Leuven and Leefdaal. Line 315 will run via the Boskee between the Tervuursesteenweg and the Dorpsstraat and no longer via the Blokkenstraat.

Please note!

The departure time of your trusted bus may changed due to these improvements. Be sure to consult the timetable (Dutch version) of your line to see whether anything changes for you. Be sure to enter a date after 1 September 2010.
