Transport to events

De Lijn provides extra transportation for many events. This means that you can board a bus or tram more frequently during certain events, that you'll reach your destination more quickly or that you will be charged less for a journey.




A few large events that De Lijn supports every year include Rimpelrock, Pukkelpop, the Gentse Feesten, the City Parade, Rock Werchter, Marktrock and Festival Dranouter.
De Lijn is also ready to bring you to events in multi-purpose halls like the Sportpaleis, Antwerp Expo, the Nekkerhal, the Brabanthal and Flanders Expo. Information about the extra transportation for such events can be found here.

Visitors to the Flemish Opera in Antwerp or Ghent will receive free return passage during the 2009-2010 opera season when they show their opera ticket with De Lijn's logo on it. Return passage is only valid on the day of the show and in the city where the show is taking place.
