How often do you take the bus or tram?
- If you take the bus or tram infrequently : ticket or SMS ticket
- On occasion you take the bus or tram several times a day or up to 5 consecutive days : day pass or multiple days pass
- If you take the bus or tram now and then : Lijnkaart
- You take the bus or tram several times a week : season ticket
Does your city, municipality or employer pay for (part of) your season ticket?
Cities and municipalities can conclude a third party payment agreement with De Lijn. In that case they pay for (part of) your season ticket.
Employers can also conclude a third party payment agreement with De Lijn. Ask your employer about this.

If you travel with a group of 5 to 44 people then you can use:

De Lijn makes it easy for you: you can pay for your journey with your mobile phone. You do this by purchasing an SMS ticket: a valid ticket for your journey with the bus or tram throughout Flanders.
