What should I do if my SMS ticket’s available time has expired?

An SMS ticket is valid for 60 minutes. This period starts when you receive your ticket from us by text message.

The available time is the remaining time during which you can transfer to another De Lijn bus or tram. If your journey takes longer than 60 minutes, you must purchase a new ticket.

What if you want to change after your 60 minutes have expired?

In that case, you will have to buy a new ticket when you board. This also applies when your bus or tram is delayed. You can buy a new SMS ticket or one of the other ticket types.
