How do I use my single ticket?
From now on you need to scan your single ticket
Our travel passes have been held on a MOBIB card for some time. Now it’s the turn of the other tickets: they too will go on an electronic card (a different one from the MOBIB card) rather than a magnetic card.
Scan your single ticket whenever you board or transfer, near the driver or at a scanner further down the vehicle. You can use as many buses and trams as you like within 60 minutes and then complete your ride.
Do you want to know if your single ticket is still valid? First press the info button on the scanner and then scan your card. You’ll then be able to see how long your ticket is still valid for.
Use your magnetic cards first. They can still be used until the end of June 2020. From 1 July 2020 the validation devices will no longer be usable.
Unable to use up your magnetic cards by 30 June 2020? No worries. You will be able to exchange any remaining magnetic cards at any time. More information will follow later.
How to use my magnetic card?
Insert your ticket in a yellow validation device as you board and press 1.
Your ticket is valid for 60 minutes. After the 60 minutes you cannot change bus or tram any more, but you can complete your ride as far as your destination stop.
