Regular and familiar
On weekdays, the R20 runs every 15 minutes, and on Saturdays every 20 minutes. On Sundays, you travel every 15 minutes from Brussels Airport to Vilvoorde Station, and from there every half hour to UZ Brussel.

This line travels large sections of the route on dedicated bus lanes. That means less time lost in traffic, a quick alternative to the car!

The tram buses of line R20 are larger (sufficient seating), more comfortable, and more accessible thanks to the wide doors and low floor. Most stops also have a shelter and bike parking.

Combine the R20 with other lines and reach even more locations in the region with a maximum of one transfer. Do so, for instance, at UZ Brussels, Vilvoorde center and station, or Machelen Discount P1.
The lines in this region are also well coordinated with the trains of NMBS. This way, you won’t have to wait long anywhere.
Other lines also benefit from the separate bus lanes in Vilvoorde, such as city line 1 (Houtem – Verbrande Brug), lines 21 (Merchtem – Brussels Airport), 28 (Vilvoorde hospital – Mechelen station), and 82 (Brussels Airport – Mechelen station).
Easy change to STIB trams to Brussels. At tram stops Jette UZ Brussel and Esplanade, count on a tram every 6 minutes.
