Free bus ticket from carpool South and Park H
In Hasselt you travel free of charge from Parking P+R carpool Hasselt-Zuid and Park H to the city centre. You can also travel back to the car park from the stops in the city centre for free. There are no special shuttle buses. You can take the regular buses. You can board at the stops near the participating car parks.

How does the free round-trip ticket work via the app?
Open the De Lijn app.
Click on ‘Products’ at the bottom.
Tap the symbol for purchasing tickets in the top right corner*.
Navigate to the ‘Discount tickets municipality’ section.
Find and select the ‘Hasselt parking’ ticket.
Add the desired number of tickets to your cart.
Activate your ticket when you board. This ticket is valid for 24 hours and must be presented during a check.

How does the free round-trip ticket work via the website?
Visit the De Lijn website.
Log in with your De Lijn account or create a new one to purchase the ticket.
Click on ‘Tickets’ in the menu bar at the top of the page.
Scroll to the ‘Discount tickets cities and municipalities’ section.
Type ‘Hasselt’ in the search bar.
Select the ‘Hasselt parking’ ticket and add the desired number of tickets to your cart.
Activate your ticket when you board. This ticket is valid for 24 hours and must be presented during a check.
How does the free round-trip SMS ticket work?
Text HASSELT PARKING to the number 4884 when you are at the stop.
You will receive a reply message that serves as a ticket for a round trip between the parking lot and the center of Hasselt.
Show the ticket to the driver when boarding.
Important:
Your telecom operator charges €0.25 for sending your SMS ticket.
Tip:
Want to order multiple tickets with one phone? Then text the order code followed by the number of tickets you want to receive. This way, you only pay the operator fee of €0.25 once.
