Preferential reimbursement
In certain cases you are entitled to an annual travel pass (Buzzy Pazz or Omnipas) at a reduced rate.
What and for whom?
This ‘preferential reimbursement’ discount is granted to:
persons who qualify for the status of increased compensation*;
persons with a recent (maximum 3 months) certificate for increased compensation issued by the health insurance fund;
holders of a valid preferential reimbursement card from NMBS-SNCB

What discount will I get?
For an annual travel pass (Omnipas or Buzzy Pazz) you pay just 66 euro.
(plus a 6 euro administrative fee for a MOBIB card if you don’t already have one)
How do I buy my discounted travel pass?
Online
Buy your travel pass quickly and easily online. Tick to confirm that you are entitled to a travel pass with preferential reimbursement and identify yourself via eID or itsme. This will give us access to the necessary documents.
At the Lijnwinkel store
Call in at a Lijnwinkel store and
bring (a copy of) your identity card (front and back)
state that you are entitled to increased compensation (check this via MyBenefits)
or bring a certificate from your health insurance fund
After you have paid you can take your travel pass away with you.
*Indicate whether you benefit from a preferential reimbursement. Under privacy law (GDPR), the Lijnwinkel store staff member is not allowed to ask about this.
