What exactly is the Brabantnet?
Three tram lines: an express tram, a ring tram and an airport tram.
On 6 December 2013, the Flemish government decided that the Brabantnet will consist of three tram/trambus lines:
The Ringtrambus from UZ Brussel in Jette via Vilvoorde to Brussels Airport (realized in 2020)
The A12 Express Tram from Willebroek (Fort van Breendonk) to Brussels-North (realization not yet started)
The Airport Tram from Brussels-North to Brussels Airport (realization not yet started)
