  • You can do this via the app by going to more → settings → edit permissions → permissions → edit preferences and unsubscribing there.

Which personal data and why

With your consent, you can receive personalized offers and advertisements via our app, email, or through ads on other websites (such as newspapers or social media). We select these offers and advertisements based on your trips, purchases, and/or your use of the website or app. We use this data to better tailor our campaigns to you and your preferences and to present the most interesting and relevant offers and promotions.

Origin of the personal data

We collect this personal data directly from you when you use a De Lijn service. We only use the personal data for offers and advertisements if you have given your consent.

Transfer of the personal data

We collaborate with partners for displaying these offers and advertisements. For example, we work with our partner DPG media. Only your email address is shared with these partners.

  • Retention period of the personal data

The personal data (specifically the email address) is shared with partners only for the duration of the marketing campaign and is then deleted by our partner. We retain all described personal data in accordance with the provisions of our privacy statement.
