De Lijn Flex in the province of Antwerpen
In the province of Antwerpen there are five different major regions: Antwerpen Region, Kempen Region, Mechelen Region, Boortmeerbeek – Bonheiden – Heist-op-den-Berg flex area and Klein-Brabant flex area. Where and when does the flexbus run in your region? Find out on this page.
Antwerpen Region
Antwerpen Region flex area
From now on you can use flexible transport in Antwerpen. The flexbus operates in the municipalities of Aartselaar, Antwerpen (except the area within the R1), Beveren-Kruibeke-Zwijndrecht, Boechout, Boom, Brasschaat, Brecht, Edegem, Essen, Hemiksem, Hove, Kalmthout, Kapellen, Kontich, Lier, Lint, Malle, Mortsel, Niel, Ranst, Rumst, Schelle, Schilde, Schoten, Stabroek, Wijnegem, Wommelgem, Wuustwezel, Zandhoven and Zoersel.
For practical reasons, the flexible transport service is divided into two areas: Antwerpen Region Linkeroever and Rechteroever. We are currently adapting the information on our website to the new network, which will start in early January. You will soon be able to use the links below to see which stops you can take the flexbus at:
Antwerpen Region (Linkeroever) flex area

The flexbus is on the road in this region on the following days and at the following times:

Kempen Region
In the Kempen Region we’re reorganising the flexible transport service, and you can now use the flexbus (fully or partially) in the following municipalities: Balen, Dessel, Geel, Grobbendonk, Herenthout, Herselt, Hulshout, Laakdal, Meerhout, Mol, Nijlen, Olen, Retie and Westerlo.
From 6 January 2025, you can also use the flexbus in the following municipalities (fully or partially): Hoogstraten, Ravels, Turnhout, Oud-Turnhout, Merksplas, Vosselaar, Beerse, Lille and Kasterlee.
Flexible transport in the Kempen consists of nine separate flex areas. Use the links below to see which stops you can take the flexbus at:

Mechelen Region

Boortmeerbeek – Bonheiden – Heist-op-den-Berg flex area
In concrete terms, you can use flexible transport in the Boortmeerbeek – Bonheiden – Heist-op-den-Berg flex area in the municipalities of Berlaar, Bonheiden, Boortmeerbeek, Bornem, Heist-op-den-Berg and Putte.
In Heist-op-den-Berg you can also use two flexbuses from the Kempen.

Klein-Brabant flex area
We’re expanding the Klein-Brabant flex area. You can now also rely on flexible transport in the north of Willebroek, so the Klein-Brabant flexbus serves the municipalities of Bornem, Puurs-Sint-Amands and Willebroek.
