Going on a trip? Get there and back easily with De Lijn.

If you’re traveling from stop to stop, De Lijn offers two affordable options depending on the size of your group.

10-journey ticket (1-10 people)

Please note: You cannot reserve seats.

That is why we recommend traveling during off-peak hours:

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. and after 6:30 p.m.

• Wednesday between 9 a.m. and 11:45 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., and after 6:30 p.m.

Free transportation for schools to cultural destinations with dynamoOPWEG

Are you taking a class or school group to one of the cultural destinations listed on Cultuurkuur? Then you can travel to that destination for free with De Lijn. To do so, request a dynamoOPWEG ticket.

Your trip by tram and bus must meet the following conditions:

• A trip to a cultural destination listed on Cultuurkuur.

• Each trip must include no more than 30 people, including students and chaperones combined.

• You must board and disembark at De Lijn’s regular stops.

• You can apply via Cultuurkuur, and applications are accepted throughout the entire school year. Be sure to submit your application a few business days before your departure.

• This offer does not apply to trips taken with the flexbus.

• Free travel is only available during off-peak hours.

Is your trip too far to walk, or would you like to reserve transportation?

For trips where you cannot travel from stop to stop or where you would like to reserve seats, we’d like to refer you to the professional bus and coach industry. Please contact FBAA.

Other possibilities: Partial contribution to season ticket

With this system you pay a certain percentage of the total cost of your students’ season tickets. The cost to you is limited, but doing this still makes a big difference to your students.
