Elevators and guidance for people with disabilities

The metro stations Meir, Opera, Diamant, Astrid, Sport, and Zegel are easily accessible. You can walk smoothly and safely to the platforms via folding doors and glass elevators.

If you have a disability, you can use the guide lines. You walk from the natural guide line to the artificial guidance line. At the intersections of the guidance lines, where you can choose a direction, we provide directions via braille plates.

The danger zones at the bottom and top of stairs, escalators, elevators' access doors, and along the platform edge are marked with tactile tiles. Along the platform edge, a boarding tile (90x90cm) is provided at the first wheelchair-accessible door. You can feel this tile next to the tactile tiles.

Escalators

The metro stations are equipped with descending and ascending escalators in each direction. To ensure you can use them smoothly and safely, we regularly work on renewing them where necessary. Above, you can find all the useful information per metro station to make your connection even easier.
