Down escalator to ticket hall out of service
The descending escalator from Meir to the ticket hall is temporarily out of service due to significant damage to the escalator steps. The cause of this damage is being investigated, and repairs will be needed before the escalator can be put back into service. All other escalators at Meir station are operational, providing ample access options to comfortably enter the station.
General information
Meir metro station is located at Meir Bridge.
Entrances
You can access this station in various ways. Use the above-ground entrances and choose between the stairs, escalators or lifts. If you specifically want to take the lift to your platform, you can: you’ll find the lifts near the escalators, in the central part of the ticket hall.
Lines
At Meir metro station you can take lines 3, 5, 9 and 15.
Platforms
Meir metro station has two platforms:
Platform A: lines 3, 5, 9, and 15 towards P+R Merksem, Wijnegem, Eksterlaar, and P+R Boechout.
Platform B: lines 3, 5, 9, and 15 towards P+R Melsele, P+R Linkeroever, and Regatta.
Escalators
The metro station is equipped with 15 escalators.
Elevators
The metro station has 3 elevators.
Ticket machines
If you want to buy a valid ticket, we have good news: there’s a ticket machine in both ticket halls.
