Why this new vision of the future?

Because mobility is under more pressure than ever. Road congestion often makes it difficult to get to your destination on time, and motorised traffic also causes air pollution. At the same time, numerous social and technological developments – such as artificial intelligence, autonomous vehicles or emission-free driving – are changing our world faster than ever.

At De Lijn, we are at the heart of mobility in Flanders, and we want to play a key role in changing and improving it. We want to do so with reliable and sustainable public transport that takes full advantage of technological progress.
