Brugge Region flex area

This flex area includes the municipalities of Beernem, Blankenberge, Brugge, Damme, Jabbeke, Knokke-Heist, Oostkamp, Zedelgem and Zuienkerke. The old dial-a-bus service is being extended there, so that from now on you can use flexible transport in all municipalities within the Brugge Region flex area. The flexbus will also operate there too at a later date.

Night-time flex area on the periphery of Brugge

The evening network in Brugge has been redesigned, and as a result some villages are no longer served at later times by regular lines. We offer a solution for these travellers until 22.30 with flexible transport from the Brugge Region flex area.

On Friday and Saturday evenings we also provide extra-late flexible transport in these areas – through until 2.30 the following morning. 

• Damme night-time flex area

• Moerbrugge – Hertsberge – Veldegem night-time flex area

• Zeebrugge night-time flex area

• Zuienkerke – Stalhille night-time flex area

Tip!

• Plan your entire journey with the De Lijn Flex-app and make your reservation for the flexbus. Your regular bus line will take you to a stop where you can transfer to a flexbus that will take you to your final stop within these areas.

• For example, do you want to go from Brugge to Hertsberge? Then you can take regular line 20 to Oostkamp and transfer there to the Moerbrugge – Hertsberge – Veldegem night-time flexbus. 

• It’s important to register your entire journey in the De Lijn Flex-app, so that we take optimal account of the transfer between bus and flexbus.

Kortrijk Region 

In the Kortrijk Region you can now travel via two flex areas (Anzegem – Avelgem – Spiere-Helkijn – Zwevegem and Wervik – Menen – Wevelgem).

The flexbus is on the road in this region on the following days and at the following times:

Anzegem – Avelgem – Spiere-Helkijn – Zwevegem flex area 

The flexbus in Anzegem – Avelgem – Spiere-Helkijn – Zwevegem flex area operates (fully or partially) in the territory of Anzegem, Avelgem, Deerlijk, Spiere-Helkijn and Zwevegem. In Kortrijk it is also available to provide services in Kooigem and Hoog-Kortrijk. 

Wervik – Menen – Wevelgem flex area  

The Wervik – Menen – Wevelgem flex area includes the municipality of Wervik and also has a number of stops in Menen and Wevelgem (Moorsele).

Midwest Region 

Midwest Region flex area 

The Midwest Region flex area now allows you to use flexible transport in more municipalities. The flexbus operates in the following municipalities: Ardooie, Dentergem, Hooglede, Ingelmunster, Izegem, Ledegem, Lichtervelde, Moorslede, Oostrozebeke, Pittem, Roeselare, Staden, Tielt, Torhout, Wielsbeke and Wingene.

Westhoek Region 

Westhoek Region flex area 

You can use flexible transport throughout the Westhoek Region. The flexbus also runs later in the evening, and into the night on Fridays and Saturdays.  

The Westhoek Region flex area covers the following municipalities: Alveringem, De Panne, Diksmuide, Heuvelland, Houthulst, Ieper, Koekelare, Kortemark, Langemark-Poelkapelle, Lo-Reninge, Mesen, Poperinge, Veurne, Vleteren and Zonnebeke. A number of municipalities in Middelkerke and Nieuwpoort also fall within this flex area.
