Brugge region flex area

This flex area includes the municipalities of Beernem, Blankenberge, Brugge, Damme, Jabbeke, Knokke-Heist, Oostkamp, Zedelgem and Zuienkerke. The flex bus also serves several key (transfer) stops in neighboring municipalities. • Starting July 1, 2026, Doomkerke De Zande will no longer be served by Regio Brugge’s flex transport service. The many direct trips to and from Bruges placed a very high demand on the availability of the flexbuses. From De Zande, you can still take the Regio Midwest flexbus to Beernem Station to continue your journey to Bruges via the regular line 60 or the train.

• Starting July 1, 2026, the flex bus will run at the same times as on other days of the week. The special Friday and Saturday night service will therefore no longer operate.

Kortrijk region 

In the Kortrijk region, we will be adjusting the flex zones starting July 1, 2026. We are expanding the zones so that the flex bus can serve more stops. From now on, you will travel in the Kortrijk-East and Kortrijk-West zones.

Kortrijk-East Flex Zone

The flex bus in the Kortrijk-East Flex Zone serves the municipalities of Anzegem, Avelgem, Deerlijk, Spiere-Helkijn, and Zwevegem. The southern part of Waregem will also be served starting July 1, 2026. In Kortrijk, the flex bus serves Kooigem and several stops in Hoog-Kortrijk and along the N50.

Kortrijk-West Flex Zone

The Kortrijk-West Flex Zone consists of the municipalities of Wervik, Menen, and Spiere-Helkijn. In the municipality of Wevelgem, a flex bus operates in Moorsele and Wevelgem. In Kortrijk, starting July 1, 2026, Hoog-Kortrijk and the boroughs of Aalbeke, Bellegem, Kooigem, and Rollegem will be added to this flex area. The flex bus also serves several key (transfer) stops in the neighboring municipalities.

Midwest region 

Midwest region flex area 

The Midwest region flex area operates in the following municipalities: Ardooie, Dentergem, Hooglede, Ingelmunster, Izegem, Ledegem, Lichtervelde, Moorslede, Oostrozebeke, Pittem, Roeselare, Staden, Tielt, Torhout, Wielsbeke and Wingene. The Flexbus also stops at several key (transfer) stops in neighboring municipalities.

Westhoek region flex area 

The Westhoek Region flex area covers the following municipalities: Alveringem, De Panne, Diksmuide, Heuvelland, Houthulst, Ieper, Koekelare, Koksijde, Kortemark, Langemark-Poelkapelle, Lo-Reninge, Mesen, Poperinge, Veurne, Vleteren and Zonnebeke. Several boroughs in Middelkerke and Nieuwpoort are also included in this flexible service area. The flexible bus also serves several key (transfer) stops in the neighboring municipalities.
