SNCB subscription for loyal subscribers

What?

For loyal subscribers of De Lijn, there is an NMBS subscription. This allows you to travel unlimited between Linker- and Rechteroever during the tunnel renovation. Your De Lijn subscription, on MOBIB card or in the app, is not a valid travel ticket on the train.

The specific NMBS subscription is valid between the NMBS stations Antwerp-Linkeroever, Antwerp-South, Antwerp-Berchem, and Antwerp-Central. On our website, we explain where this station is located and how you can get there easily.

For whom?

• This offer is only for subscribers of De Lijn. In this way, we help expand the travel alternatives for our most loyal customers.

• You are eligible for this if you have a valid De Lijn subscription on April 4, 2026, and maintain it uninterrupted during the renovation works.

• Not sure until when your subscription is valid? Check the expiration date. Make sure to renew your (three)monthly subscription regularly and on time. We monitor this closely.

• Brupass, Brupass XL, City Pass Gent, and our Student Passes are not eligible for this NMBS subscription.

• Be sure to submit your application on time, but first check if this offer is convenient for you. There are quite a few alternatives.

• For example: do you normally travel by tram to Antwerp-Central and then by train to Brussels-Central? Then we have good news! You can use your current NMBS transport pass (subscription or ticket) to also board at Antwerpen-Linkeroever station, as it is within the NMBS Zone Antwerp. In short: you can simply depart from Antwerpen-Linkeroever without needing to apply for the additional NMBS subscription through us.

• Then your (high) school, university, or employer might pay (a part or) the full price of your NMBS subscription. So be sure to ask about it.

• And note: if you have a Student Pass, you are not eligible for this offer.

How to apply?

Fill out the application form before May 31, 2026, if you meet the conditions. We arrange everything with NMBS – and communicate about every step of the process. We will also inform you if you are not entitled to this NMBS subscription.
