De Lijn Flex-app
With the De Lijn Flex-app, you receive notifications for changes and can see where your bus is live. This way, you are always sure of your timing.

The easiest way to book a Flexbus. Scan the QR code and download the app to your phone.
How does it work?
Plan your journey
First, choose the time you want to travel. Make your choice between 'depart at' or 'arrive at.' Do you need to arrive somewhere on time? Then choose the 'arrive at' option. Then enter your departure location and your destination.
Choose your route
The De Lijn Flex-planner offers one or more travel options. You will likely complete your route with regular public transport. Can't manage that completely? Then we'll suggest a flex ride. You will be given a 30-minute time window around the departure or arrival time. Confirm this proposal and reserve your ride.
Keep an eye on your phone
Give the app permission to send you notifications in the app or disable these notifications if you prefer to receive a text message.
Follow the flexbus live
You can track in the app in real-time where your flex bus is located. This can be done about 15 minutes in advance. This way, you can accurately estimate when the bus will approximately arrive.
Tips
Choose arrival time
When planning your trip, choose the 'arrival by' option. This way, the flexbus optimally schedules your pickup time.
Turn on your notifications
Allow notifications in the app or turn them off if you prefer to receive a text message.
Track the flex bus live
From 15 minutes before your pickup time, you can see in the app where the bus is and when it will arrive.
Cancelling or changing
Are you unable to take your reserved flexbus? Please cancel your ride as soon as possible, at least 30 minutes in advance.

This way, we can make room for other travelers.
How does it work?
First time no-show: you will only receive a warning via SMS.
Second time no-show (within 30 days): you will receive a formal written (or digital) warning with an explanation of the procedures.
Third time no-show (within 30 days after a formal warning): you will be suspended for 14 days and will receive a written notice with an overview of missed rides.
No-show again (within 30 days after the end of the previous suspension): you will be suspended again, this time for 30 days.
Want to file a defense?
You have 5 working days to file an objection via reservatie@flex.delijn.be if the no-show was not your fault. Each request is assessed individually.
