De Lijn Flex in the province of Flemish Brabant
In the province of Flemish Brabant, there are two different regions where flexible transport is offered. In the Leuven region, there are 2 flexible areas, and in the Vlaamse Rand region, the flex bus operates in Opwijk and Londerzeel. Where and when does the flex bus operate in your region? Leuven Region
Hageland
In the Hageland flex zone, you can take the flex bus in the following municipalities: Aarschot, Begijnendijk, Bekkevoort, Bierbeek, Boutersem, Diest, Geetbets, Glabbeek, Hoegaarden, Kortenaken, Landen, Linter, Scherpenheuvel-Zichem, Tienen, Tremelo (Baal), and Zoutleeuw.

To improve availability, we will also be adding an extra vehicle on weekends starting July 1, 2026.

Kortenberg – Bertem – Huldenberg
Starting July 1, 2026, we are expanding the Kortenberg–Bertem service area to include several stops in Tervuren (Vossem and Duisburg) and Huldenberg. From now on, the flex bus will only operate on weekdays. Visit the flex service area page to see which stops you can catch the flex bus at.
