When you are on a bus or tram, it’s useful to know when the vehicle will be at your stop. Are you unfamiliar with the area, do you have a visual impairment or do you like to know in advance what time you will arrive? Then our app or the stop announcements will help.

Thanks to the real-time information in our redesigned app, you know when your bus or tram is coming. During the ride you will also be shown the upcoming stops. Take it a step further and set an alarm to notify you when it’s time to get off. Or activate immediately upon entering the vehicle your planned route so that the app guides you from departure to arrival. But that’s not all: our app is useful for lots of things. For buying your ticket, for example, or mapping out the best routes by train, tram, metro or bus.

Spoken and written stop announcements on the vehicles

Trams

  • All trams, with the exception of PCC trams, are equipped with an auditory and visual stop announcement.

  • A voice announces the next stop and its name appears on an illuminated screen. This ensures you know in advance when you are approaching your stop.

Buses

  • We are working on adapting the stop announcements on most of our own buses too. This represents an important step in improving passenger information and the accessibility of our services.

  • The visual stop announcements will work on all installed vehicles. We are activating the auditory stop announcements with the roll-out of our digital radio.

Real-time travel information

We have worked hard to ensure the availability and reliability of our real-time travel information. This is displayed in our app, on our website and on real-time stop signs, providing several different ways in which you can see when your bus or tram will arrive.
