Practical tips for using your ticket on a card
This card is a paper carrier containing a chip. This carrier is not rechargeable and not personalised.
You can use your card as long as there are journeys left on it and/or the period of validity has not expired. It cannot be topped up. When you scan your card, the date and time are saved. Nothing is printed on the card.
Don’t fold the card, as this may lead to journeys being lost.
The info button on the scanners and ticket machines allows you to see how many journeys are left on the card and how long your ticket is valid for.
Do you have a group ticket? If so, scan it just once for the entire group every time you board or transfer.
If you use a 10-journey ticket for several people, scan it once for each person in rapid succession (within two minutes).
