Contribution towards travel pass
Do you want to reduce your (mobility) costs but without lots of extra administration? Use contributions for travel passes.
You will then pay all or part of the cost of the bus and tram travel pass, and in addition your employees won’t have to pay anything in advance. What’s more, there are no additional costs and no purchase obligation.
Full or partial payment as an employer
You pay between a minimum of 72% and a maximum of 100% of the cost of your employee’s network travel pass. This is an attractive measure that is easy to implement. Requesting, changing or canceling subscriptions is easy and is done via our Business Portal. Decide for yourself how much monitoring and checking takes place.

If there are employees who would like to try using public transport to get to work first, then De Lijn offers them a free 10-journey trial card with which they can make unlimited use of all De Lijn trams and buses for one month*.
Combined mobility
De Lijn believes in combining different modes of transport and offers numerous benefits in conjunction with our mobility partners. When you opt for a mobility budget, you can combine different modes of transport: bus and bicycle from Blue-bike, a shared scooter or a shared car from cambio.
As an NMBS-SNCB third-party payer, you can also contribute to the cost of combined De Lijn + NMBS-SNCB travel passes.
Travel passes on MOBIB card
All your employees’ travel passes are held on a MOBIB card. This MOBIB card is a medium for De Lijn travel passes and tickets and passes of other operators. A MOBIB card is valid for five years and is strictly for your own use.
An administrative fee of 10 euro will be charged for the creation and distribution of the card. As an employer, you can either pay this fee yourself or have your employee pay it. Do you already have a third-party payer contract with De Lijn as an employer, and would you like to pay the administrative fee yourself from now on? Contact your account manager to adjust this in the current contract.
*With the exception of express lines 178 and 179 in Limburg.
