The municipality of Aarschot offers its residents the return ticket Aarschot Beleef for 2 euros on Thursdays and Saturdays. You can purchase this ticket via the website or app of De Lijn.
Via the website
Go to www.delijn.be/aarschotbeleef.
Register once with your name, first name, e-mail address and telephone number. Then choose the number of tickets you want to purchase (maximum 10).
If you are at the stop on Thursday or Saturday, surf with your smartphone to the same web page and activate 1 or more tickets by clicking on the 'activate' button.
One active ticket entitles the holder to one direct outward journey with a stop in the city of Aarschot and one direct return journey with boarding in the city of Aarschot.
Show your active ticket to the driver when you get on.

Open the De Lijn app.
Click on 'Products' at the bottom.
Tap the symbol* for buying tickets at the top right.
Navigate to the section ‘Discount tickets municipality’.
Find and select the ticket ‘Aarschot Beleef’.

Free night transport in the Leuven region
The municipality of Aarschot offers its residents free bus tickets for night transport within Aarschot and from and to the 9 other sub-municipalities on Friday and Saturday evenings. The buses run from 22.22 to 03.00 on these nights.
Your journey is free if you travel between the municipalities in the yellow zone. The yellow zone is shown on the map below.
However, if you travel to or from Brussels, Holsbeek or Mechelen, you pay the normal rate.
Do you have a valid travel pass? Show it to the driver when boarding. All other travellers can obtain a free ticket by text or through the De Lijn website.

Your active ticket(s) will be valid for 60 minutes under the conditions mentioned above.
