Who is it for?
From Monday, December 8, 2025, to Sunday, January 11, 2026, the city of Dendermonde is offering its residents a free ticket valid for one return journey with De Lijn within the city limits of Dendermonde and its boroughs.
How to apply?
Do you have a valid pass? Then scan it at the yellow validators on the vehicle. All other passengers can obtain a free ticket via the De Lijn website/app, by text message, or at the Dendermonde city shop.

Go to

Register once with your surname, first name, email address, and telephone number.
Then select the number of free return tickets you want to purchase (maximum 10).
When you are at the stop, use your smartphone to navigate to your ticket zone in your account and activate one or more tickets by clicking on the ‘activate’ button. With an active ticket, you can make one outward and one return journey within the conditions mentioned above.
Show your active ticket to the driver when you board.
Via the De Lijn app
Go to Products – Buy tickets – Discount tickets municipality in the De Lijn app and search or scroll to Dendermonde.
Then select the number of free return tickets you want to purchase (maximum 10).
When you are at the stop, go to Products – Tickets in your app and activate one or more tickets by clicking on the ‘activate’ button. With an active ticket, you can make one outward and one return journey within the conditions mentioned above.
Show your active ticket to the driver when you board.

Free bus ticket on Mondays
The city of Dendermonde offers its residents a free ticket on Mondays, valid for 1 outward and 1 return journey with De Lijn within the boundaries of Dendermonde and its municipalities.
Do you have a valid travel pass? Show it to the driver when boarding. All other travellers can obtain a free ticket by text, through the De Lijn website, or through the Stadswinkel service at Dendermonde Administrative Centre.

Tip:
Do you want to use one mobile phone to order multiple tickets? Text the order code followed by the number of tickets you want to receive. You will then only pay the operator charge of 0.25 euro once.
Important:
You will only receive a valid ticket on Mondays.
Your telecom operator will charge you 0.25 euro to send your ticket.
* As a temporary coronavirus measure, you cannot board at the front of the vehicle. You must of course have a valid ticket with you.
Discount on Buzzy Pazz and Omnipas travel passes for Cambio users
If you are registered with Cambio, all household members receive a 50% discount on their travel pass (for 1, 3 or 12 months).
To be able to use the discount, you must be able to submit a new certificate issued by the city of Dendermonde for every travel pass application (including renewals). The certificates for obtaining the travel pass discount can be collected from the Stadswinkel on presentation of your identity card and proof of membership of Cambio. With this certificate and your identity card, go to any Lijnwinkel store in East Flanders to purchase your travel pass. You can also send the completed certificate, signed and stamped by the city of Dendermonde, together with a copy of your identity card to the Travel Pass department. If you have an electronic identity card and provide a copy of this to De Lijn, you must also provide proof of your address. This can be done, for example, by adding a household composition certificate. You will be sent a bank transfer form, and your travel pass will be sent to you after you have used this to make your payment. The Dendermonde discount is automatically applied in either case.
