Discount on Buzzy Pazz

Young people up to 24 years old who live in Ostend or are domiciled in Ostend and who attend school or are employed in Ostend receive a 50% discount on the Buzzy Pazz

  • Go to Ostend Town Hall or to the Lijnwinkel store at Ostend Railway Station and ask for a certificate to obtain a Buzzy Pazz with a 50% discount

  • Get the certificate stamped by your school or employer,

  • then get it stamped at Ostend Town Hall.

  • When you have done this, take the stamped certificate to the Lijnwinkel store at Ostend Railway Station. You will pay a reduced rate and receive your travel pass immediately.

Discount for Omnipas

Residents who live in Ostend or residents who are domiciled in Ostend receive a 25% discount on the Omnipas (25 to 64 years). The discount is automatically deducted from the price.

0.50 euros between P&R and city centre

The city of Ostend offers its residents cheaper P&R bus tickets. You pay just 0.50 euros for a return journey between the Maria Hendrikapark car park and the city centre. Do you have a valid travel pass? Show it to the driver when boarding. All other travellers can obtain a cut-price ticket by text or through the De Lijn website.

Through the De Lijn website:

  • Go to www.delijn.be/oostendeparking.

  • Complete a one-off registration with your surname, first name, email address and telephone number.

  • Then choose the number of tickets you want to purchase (maximum 10).

  • When you are at the bus stop, go to www.delijn.be/oostendeparking on your smartphone and activate one or more tickets by tapping the ‘Activate’ button. One active ticket entitles you to one outward and one return journey under the above-mentioned conditions.

  • Show your active ticket to the driver when you board.*

  • You will then receive an ticket which entitles you to one outward and one return journey under the above-mentioned conditions.

Tip:

Do you want to use one mobile phone to order multiple tickets? Text the order code followed by the number of tickets you want to receive. You will then only pay the operator charge of 0.25 euro once.

* As a temporary coronavirus measure, you cannot board at the front of the vehicle. You must have a valid ticket with you.
