From Friday evening, April 10, to Thursday morning, April 16, Agentschap Wegen en Verkeer (AWV) will renovate two highway bridges on the E313. During this period, the E313 will be completely closed in both directions between the connection with the Antwerp ring road and the exit and entrance ramps at the Wommelgem roundabout. Several bus lines will follow an adjusted route.

Line X42 will be shortened to the temporary bus stop P+R Wommelgem (at the roundabout in Wommelgem). Extra buses will be deployed between stop Vorselaar Dorp and stop P+R Wommelgem.

The express services X41, X42, 416, and 418 will only run to the temporary bus stop P+R Wommelgem (at the roundabout in Wommelgem) from Saturday, April 11, to Thursday, April 16.
Here’s how you can continue your journey:
Get off at the temporary bus stop P+R Wommelgem (at the roundabout in Wommelgem).
Take tram line 8 at the P+R Wommelgem stop to Antwerpen Astrid Metro.
This is the fastest connection to the city center.
From Turnhout Center or Herentals Center
Do you live within a 3 km radius around Turnhout or Herentals? Then we recommend taking the train to Antwerpen-Centraal. This is the easiest way to reach your destination.
From Oostmalle
Line 40 is shortened to the stop at Wijnegem Shopping Center. From there, you can take tram line 5 or 10 from the Wijnegem Shopping Center stop or Schijnbeemden stop to Antwerp city center.
