Spot your bus or tram on the map in real time
De Lijn is improving your travel information all the time. The new ‘vehicle on map’ function now shows the real-time location of your bus or tram in the app, on the map on the journey page.

How does it work?
Go to the stop page you want: tap ‘search’ in the menu at the bottom and enter your stop.
On the stop page (Leuven Wijnpers on the example below), tap the arrival time of a line (we use 395 Hoeilaart - Leuven here).

You will now see the journey page below. You can see your vehicle’s current location on the map at the top of the journey page. Below the map you can see the corresponding real-time arrival times at the next stops.

The real-time location is automatically updated every 15 seconds.
On the map you will always see the next stop with the status ‘arriving’, and the same under the corresponding stop name below (with a blue dot).
You will only see the vehicle’s location if it has real-time reception.
