A 3-day ticket is the cheapest option if you don’t have a travel pass and you regularly travel on our buses or trams on one or more consecutive days.

How do you use a digital 3-day ticket via the De Lijn app or website?
Buy your 3-day ticket via the website or app. It will then be in your ticket zone.
Before you board, you still need to activate it, which can also be done in our app or on our website. Only then can you travel for 72 hours on all our buses and trams (except the Student Express Lines 178 and 179). Note that the name on your account must be the same as on your identity card.
How do you use a 3-day ticket on a card?
As soon as you board or transfer, scan your 3-day ticket. Hold the card in front of the blue circle at the bottom of the yellow scanner. You can then travel for 72 hours on all our buses and trams (except the Student Express Lines 178 and 179). You can complete your last ride, of course.
Do you want to know if your 3-day ticket is still valid? First press the info button on the scanner and then scan your card. You’ll then be able to see how long it is still valid for. But you can also check this online.

Thanks to the real-time information in our redesigned app, you know when your bus or tram is coming. During the ride you will also be shown the upcoming stops. Take it a step further and set an alarm to notify you when it’s time to get off. Or activate immediately upon entering the vehicle your planned route so that the app guides you from departure to arrival. But that’s not all: our app is useful for lots of things. For buying your ticket, for example, or mapping out the best routes by train, tram, metro or bus.
