Shopping ticket for 2 euros there and back to Leuven on Saturdays and on Leuven shopping Sundays! Make a smart choice and come by bus! You can travel to the centre of the shopping city and back for just 2 euros. No parking stress, just enjoy yourself!

Buy your ticket online

  • Go to www.delijn.be/leuvenwinkel.

  • Complete a one-off registration with your surname, first name, email address and telephone number.

  • Then choose the number of shopping tickets you want to purchase (maximum 10).

  • Pay for the tickets in the payment module with a debit or credit card.

  • When you are at the bus stop, go to www.delijn.be/leuvenwinkel on your smartphone and activate one or more tickets by tapping the ‘Activate’ button. One active ticket entitles you to one direct outward journey getting off the bus in the city of Leuven and one direct return journey boarding the bus in the city of Leuven.

  • Show your active ticket to the driver when you board.*

Important:

  • You can only activate the shopping ticket on Saturdays or shopping Sundays.

At the Lijnwinkel store in Leuven

In Leuven you can also purchase the shopping ticket on an electronic card in the Lijnwinkel store (Martelarenplein 19).

Scan your ticket at the yellow MOBIB scanner when you board, for both your outward and your return journey.

Buy your ticket via text message

  • Text LEUVEN WINKEL to the number 4884 when you are at the stop.

  • You will receive an ticket which entitles you to one direct outward journey getting off the bus in the city of Leuven and one direct return journey boarding the bus in the city of Leuven.

  • Show the ticket to the driver when you board.*

* As a temporary coronavirus measure, you cannot board at the front of the vehicle. You must have a valid ticket with you.

Tip:

Do you want to use one mobile phone to order multiple tickets? Text the order code followed by the number of tickets you want to receive. You will then only pay the operator charge of 0.25 euro once.

Important:

  • You can order the shopping ticket on Saturdays and on shopping Sundays.

  • Your telecom operator will charge you 2 euros + 0.25 euro to send your ticket.

Conditions

  • Valid on all lines that run directly to Leuven.

  • For the outward journey you get off in the city of Leuven and for the return journey you get on in the city of Leuven.

  • The ticket is valid for one outward and one return journey.

  • The shopping ticket is only available via the De Lijn website, in the Lijnwinkel store in Leuven or via a text message.

Park your car at one of the participating car parks: De Bond, Heilig Hart, NMBS, Philipssite, Teken Gasthuisberg (from 18.00 on Friday to 19.00 on Sunday only) and Vaartkom.
