Shopping in Leuven

• Open the De Lijn app.

• Tap “Products” at the bottom.

• Tap the ticket purchase icon in the top right corner.

• Navigate to the “Municipal Discount Tickets” section.

• Find and select the “Leuven Winkel” ticket.

• Go to www.delijn.be/leuvenwinkel.

• Complete a one-off registration with your surname, first name, email address and telephone number.

• Then choose the number of free tickets you want to purchase (maximum 10).

• If you are at the bus stop, visit the same webpage with your smartphone and activate one or more tickets by tapping the ‘activate’ button.

  • Your active ticket(s) will be valid for 60 minutes under the conditions mentioned above.

• Show your active ticket to the driver when you board.

• In Leuven you can also purchase the shopping ticket on an electronic card in the Lijnwinkel store (Martelarenplein 19).

• Scan your ticket at the yellow MOBIB scanner when you board, for both your outward and your return journey.

• Text LEUVEN WINKEL to the number 4884 if you are at the stop.

• You will then receive an ticket which allows you to travel for 60 minutes under the conditions mentioned above.

• Show the ticket to the driver when you board.
